Two boys are playing in a sandbox and one of the boys wants to play with trucks while the other one wants to play with dolls. They later compromise and play with trucks with the dolls driving them.

Why read it? This book shows a boy who wants to play with dolls who wear tutus and feminine colors. The other boy he is playing with judges him at first but then plays along with him.

What makes it a quality book? This book shows the boys overcoming gender stereotypes and playing with a toy that is typically labeled as female.

Intended reader: This book would be great for anyone who is stuck in the gender stereoptype thinking when it comes to toys and needs a nudge in the right direction.
